Preview

See if it works on your camera

The preview runs the real app on your real gear. Drag in a photo or plug the body in over USB and it tells you straight away whether we can read your shutter count. The only thing it holds back is the number itself.

We mask the number, not the answer. If your camera isn't supported, the preview tells you for free. And you never have to spend anything.

What the preview does

Over USB, it reads the body directly. From a photo, it pulls the count out of the file's EXIF. Either way it is the real app, and it confirms whether your camera is supported. The whole app is unlocked around it: scan up to 500 photos and explore the statistics and gear views with your own library. Every feature works except the count itself.

Held back until you buy

The count itself stays masked, locked in preview, along with the lifetime estimate and how your body compares to other cameras. Scanning is capped at 500 photos, and the preview lasts 14 days before it stops.
