Q. Is it really one payment?
Yes. $24.99. Lifetime 1.x updates included. If we ever ship a 2.0 we'll offer a discount to standard-licence holders.
Q. What happens if I switch machines?
Open the Licence screen on the old machine, revoke the slot, activate the new one. Three slots, you manage them yourself.
Q. Does it need internet?
No. Reading photos and bodies is fully offline. The licence validates locally; the network call only needs to succeed once a year (365-day offline grace). The only network call we make.
Q. What if my camera isn't listed?
The free preview tells you instantly whether we can read it. If we can't, email support. We've added 12 bodies on request in the last six months.

Really. We'd rather have your honest feedback than your money. Email support within 14 days.
Q. Can I use it on Linux?
Not officially. The codebase is portable but we only ship and support Windows and macOS builds. We have no plan to add Linux soon.
Q. How do I check my camera's shutter count?
Download the app, then either plug the camera in over USB or drop in a photo straight off the card. The shutter count appears in seconds, and it works on hundreds of Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and Pentax bodies.
