USB

Connect the Canon EOS R1 to your computer with a USB cable and the app reads the exact actuation count straight from the camera.

01In the camera menu, set Airplane mode to On before connecting the USB cable. This turns the camera's Wi-Fi off. Keep it that way during the USB check.
02In the camera menu, set Choose USB connection app to Photo Import/Remote Control.
03Connect the camera to your computer with a USB data cable, straight into the computer rather than through a hub, and turn the camera on. This camera takes a USB-C cable.
04Open Camera Shutter Count and go to Check.
05When it shows Connected via USB, select Check.
06The count appears in the result card.
