Connect the Canon EOS 20D to your computer with a USB cable and the app reads the exact actuation count straight from the camera.

01In the camera menu, set Communication to PTP.
02Connect the camera to your computer with a USB data cable, straight into the computer rather than through a hub, and turn the camera on. This camera takes a Mini-USB cable.
03Open Camera Shutter Count and go to Check.
04When it shows Connected via USB, select Check.
05The count appears in the result card.
